Today my brother came into my bedroom and showed me videos and pictures of a riot that happened in the city of Baltimore. I am angry and this is why I am going to share and explain the reasons of this urpising. 

Freddie Gray was a young black man killed by policemen's bad treatments. He was arrested by policemans on April 12 because he had a knife on him. When he was in the van for 40 minutes he wasn't properly buckled in and his neck snapped. Once he had arrived at the police station, he couldn't even talk. They brought him at the hospital. Gray died a week later from a severe spinal cord injury. His funeral took place yesterday.

Today, the April 28th, many people of Baltimore organized a violence march. Young people threw bricks and burnt cars. Nearly 200 people were arrested, 144 vehicles burnt.

This event is significant because it's not the firt murder of black men in United States and it raises many questions about police use of force. Moreover another man had suffered the same treatment as Gray and is now paralysed. 

A mother also hit her son because he participated in the riot. She was elected "Mother of the Year" haha
